Liskey's saved the day! I hit a massive, unavoidable pothole one night and bent the wheel of my car. After being quoted $600 for a new wheel, I began to look around for a place that fixes them and was referred to Liskey's. I drove an hour to Lansing just to go here since I couldn't find a comparable place where I live.They warned me up front that wheels may crack during the straightening process, in which case, it would require some welding at an additional charge. I appreciated that they were up front about this very real risk of bending metal. So naturally, I prepared myself for the worst, since my wheel was severely bent.They were able to fix it and now my car drives like dream and the pothole is a very distant nightmare. The charge was $70 out the door, way better than the $600 I would've spent on a new wheel.The guys were so friendly, there was fresh popcorn in the waiting room, and they even washed my car!!! So for all you fellow Michiganders - when roads attack, go to Liskey's.

I keep my cars (2 Toyotas and a Dodge pick-up truck) well-maintained, but I drive them a long way---I have two that are over 200K miles, and are 12 and 20 years old. Vehicles with that much age and mileage start needing more non-routine maintenance and parts replacement, and Jerry and staff have always been willing to accommodate my tendency to bring new parts to them for installation, saving me a lot of money. Always very fair on labor costs, and the work is first-rate. Sometimes, I even get an under-the-car tutorial from whichever mechanic is working on my car, showing me what he's seeing when he's doing diagnostic or repair work. If you buy tires from them, they rotate and maintain them, For example my tires are 4 years old and just last week the front tires started not holding air very well, so today they cleaned up my 10 year old wheel rims, put in new valve stems and even rotated my tires. Fixed the problem and because I bought the tires there, no charge!!! They have always done a great job in the past with tires, wheels, brakes, suspension, brake lines, etc but today I remembered why they are the best. I was already a customer, now I'm a customer for life, even though I now live 45 minutes away, they are worth the drive in my opinion.... They are fair and very good. I've been a customer for nearly 15 years and I've always received first rate, honest service. Unlike many dealer-based repair facilities, I've never had Liskey's suggest service that I didn't really need. Ask for Jerry -- you can be confident that you'll get an honest deal.
